I am Sadekqua D. Shaw, your reffering Travel Agent. I have been in the business since April of 2021. What prompted me to start my business as a travel agent is my love for travel first and foremost. I am spontaneous, adventurous and outgoing. I love to see different places in the world. I think that there is so much to see and do, and everyone should have the opportunity to do so. I decided to become a travel agent during the height of the pandemic after a solo trip to Aruba (which I love solo trips by the way) . I am also a  by trade, so I have seen alot during that time. It was very hard. Very stressful, very sad. A lot of my patients were passing away. They were already suffering with cancer, but the pandemic just added more weight to that. I felt absolutely helpless and hopeless. During my solo trip to Aruba, I had met some people on the beach. This was a great distraction  from everything going on in my real world when I think about it.  The of course with my outgoing personality I know no strangers. We decided to hang out during the the duration of our trip. We went on sunset cruises, restaraunts on the beach, swam in the ocean, did some shopping etc. All I thought about was the peace of mind that it had given  me. I was relieved, stress free, and I felt healed from the hurt of losing my patients, and other loved ones at that time. When I returned home from vacation, I recalled a meeting that I attended back in the winter time, regarding becoming a travel agent. So I decided to revisit that. Without hesitation, I decided I want to do this. I started the training and paid to start my business. All want to tell you reader; is that  "IT HAS ALL BEEN VERY WORTH IT".
